• The following resolution is for when you’re trying to AirDrop to another Mac but it’s not appearing in your AirDrop window.

• Expand Apple menu select select “System Preferences…”

• Select “Software Update.”

• Select “Update Now.”
• image

• Log into your Mac when it finishes updating and restarting. If it’s up-to-date, then restart the other Mac and log into it for good measure too.

• Right-click the file or folder you wish to AirDrop, expand “Share” menu and select “AirDrop.”

• The other Mac will now appear as an option in the AirDrop window.
