CIS 4307. INTRODUCTION TO DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS AND NETWORKS. 4 CREDIT HOURS. This course is not offered every year. Introduction to the concepts that are fundamental for understanding distributed systems and the technical infrastructure that makes them possible. Lectures will mostly be expository and conceptual. Directed closed laboratories and home assignments will be applied and involve the solution of distributed programming problems. NOTE: For Computer Science Majors.

Repeatability: This course may not be repeated for additional credits.

Pre-requisites: (CIS 2166|Minimum Grade of C-|May not be taken concurrently) AND (CIS 3207|Minimum Grade of C-|May not be taken concurrently) AND (CIS 3223|Minimum Grade of C-|May not be taken concurrently)
