The EvWare web application is mainly designed for users that are interested to search or share events with a community of users. The events are visualized in a map and can be of different categories such as Academic, Social and Other. The different events can have any legitimate time duration. The user can either share their own events or search for already existing events shared by other users.

In order for a user to share their event, the user must provide the event’s type, name and location, as well as the opening and closing dates of the event. For each event that is shared the database check if it is inside a building and reports back its number. Furthermore, the user can search for events that are already shared by other users by choosing the type, the name or the time duration of events that interest her/him.
