If you use other compilers, such as MinGW, the process is simpler and you can check the Mac/Linux build methods as references.

For building the Mozak version of Vaa3d, the Mozak Team annotated build instructions for their repo here. This was confirmed by @berl to work with VS 2008 and Qt 4.7.2 on 2017.02.06
