Calibration - VR-Tracker/Master-Control GitHub Wiki
This page describe the different elements that you have on the calibration page. To know more about how the calibration is done, you can check this page: https://vrtracker.xyz/calibration-2/
1. Turn on your system
On the calibration page, you have an info bar that is providing the current connection state to the gateway. On the right side, there is an info panel to give your more information on each step of the calibration.
For the calibration, you have to select which one you want to calibrate, on "Choose the Cameras to Calibrate" you can select the different cameras that you want to calibrate. Once selected, the line will turn yellow, and you should be able to see a yellow light on the camera to show you which one you have selected.
There are 3 different buttons on the calibration page:
- Validate Camera Selection, which is the current calibration phase.
- Auto calibration, which is currently in development, and will be coming soon... :)
- Next calibration, which is also under development and link to the auto calibration, will be released in a near future
2. Choose the cameras to calibrate
On the calibration tool, you should be able to see a list of cameras that are connected to the Gateway, you can select them by clicking on the respective line. When you click on a line, the corresponding camera should flash green, so you can recognize which one you have selected.
3. The Calibration Tag
By now you should have one tag on, it is recommended to only have one tag on at this stage, this will make the calibration easier for you. Once you have selected all the cameras that you want to calibrate, click on the “Validate camera selection”. You should now see the selected cameras with a blue light, and your calibration tag in purple.
4. Enter the calibration points
Now you have to enter the points that will be used for the calibration. All points used should be set in meters. Each cameras has to see at least 4 calibration points, so make sure that you enter enough calibration points. You have two options to enter the calibration points, you can enter them one by one or you can use the text area to enter multiple points and save them for a future calibrations.
Make sure that each point you are using for the calibration is seen by at least one camera. Once you have entered all the points, click on the button “Enter Calibration View”.
5. Calibration view
It indicates the next calibration point where you have to place the calibration Tag, and give you information on how the calibration is going. For each calibration point you can use 3 options :
- Click on the calibrate button
- Use the Space Bar
- Click on the side button of the Tag (For the first version of the system, the button may not be that easy to use)
