How to use DFP to serve VMFive Ads

Create AdUnit

1. Sign in DFP and go to Inventory page

2. Choose New ad unit and select ad unit's level

3. Input the Code (Unique ID) you want and filled other optional fields you need

4. Choose default size provided by DFP or input your own custom size if it was not in the list

5. Save

6. Click Generate Tags to get your Google Publisher Tag (GPT)

7. Enable Enable single request and Collapse empty divs

8. Get your GPT code

Deliver VMFive Ads

1. Sign in DFP and go to Delivery page

2. Choose Order from left menu and click New Order

3. Input Order Name you want and choose (or create) an Advertiser

4. Input the Name of Line Item and start setting your line item

5. Select Inventory Sizes (You could input custom size here, such as 300x200)

6. Set your Delivery Type, Start Time, End Time, Price, etc

   You could also check the reference from DFP to set your line item :Create a line item

8. Click Save

9. Enter Creatives from left menu

10. Click Add Creative and choose an Advertiser

11. Choose Third party

12. Set your Creative Name

13. Place VMFive Ad Universal Code in the Code Snippet Area

14. Check if macros have been inserted correctly

15. Choose one Target ad unit size. (Target ad unit size could not be changed once you saved it.)

16. "Serve into a SafeFrame" option depends on what type of code you used

    1. If you were using VMFive Ads Universal Code, please DO NOT enable Serve into a SafeFrame.
    2. If you were using VMFive Ads Inline Code, please make sure Serve into a SafeFrame was checked.

17. Click Add Line Items

18. Select Line Items you want to associate

19. Save

20. Follow Creative Setting

21. Back to your Order and approve it. (Sometimes you also have to active your Line Item if it was inactive)

22. Take a coffee and wait it for 30~60 minutes to start delivery
