Steps to Setup a Development Container

The following steps explain how to build a Docker container, enable graphics support (e.g., rviz) and set up DevContainers in VSCode for an easier development workflow.

Install Docker

Docker is required to build and run the devcontainer image defined by the repository's Dockerfile. On Windows, Docker Desktop is the most common installation and works well for general container development.

Each OS will have a slightly different setup procedure. As of right now, Windows is the only one that is well documented.
