🔵🔵🔵 Images, Options, & Descriptions Subject to Change 🔵🔵🔵
🔵🔵🔵 Actual Values Removed 🔵🔵🔵
You are currently navigating the AutoAttic Buyer Settings page. For any Almost Abandoned Attic purchases, this is the window where all your settings are defined and referenced. If you change any value in this interface, these changes will be sent to your AutoAttic process whenever you go to the Almost Abandoned Attic page.
The AutoAttic page possesses its own Restocking List. If you use the list feature for auto buying, you must generate your own Restock List for the Almost Abandoned Attic. If you start the AutoAttic process, you must update the “Last Restock Time” in the settings menu. Without this, the AutoAttic would refresh at incorrect intervals.
Please research “Last Restock Times” to configure the AutoAttic process. Although the AutoAttic system can correct itself if more recent “Last Restock Times” arise, it is essential to note that this change is necessary for AutoAttic to purchase items optimally. You can navigate to the “Attic Antics” boards where most other users post their “Last Restock Time.”
Use the tool at your own risk, do not be greedy. Research legitimate times and adjust settings based on your ping. Lower the extension's times if you lose out on too many items, but use the tool responsibly.
- Abandoned Attic AutoBuyer Shortcut Button: When clicked, this button will open a new tab redirected to the Almost Abandoned Attic page as a shortcut.
- Almost Abandoned Attic AutoBuyer Enabled: When the slider is blue, the option is active. This option enables or disables the AutoAttic Process.
- Automatic Intelligent Refreshing Enabled: If enabled, this feature activates automatic intelligent refreshing for the AutoAttic process. The AutoAttic process calculates all possible windows based on the "Last Restock Time."
- The first window comprises +14 minutes and +10 seconds from the last restock time.
- All subsequent windows comprise +7 minutes +6 seconds from the last restock time.
Disable this option to manually refresh the Attic page.
-
Last Restock Time: This is the last known restock time for the attic in Neopian Standard Time (NST). Visit the Attic Antics Neoboard to find this timestamp. This helps the AutoAttic process refresh more strategically, reducing refresh bans.
-
Next Refresh Start Time Window & Next Refresh End Time Window: This option displays the next speculated start and end windows for the Almost Abandoned Attic to stock. This value is read-only and is related to your "Last Restock Time." These times may go out of sync if 1 of 3 scenarios occur:
-
You have not restocked in the Almost Abandoned Attic recently.
-
Your Last Restock Time is incorrect.
-
The times will sync after changing the Last Restock Time after refreshing the page.
These windows will always correct themselves after an attic restock. Be sure to update the "Last Restock Time" often for better accuracy.
- AutoAttic Refresh Time Window: Specifies the time range to run the AutoAttic process. If the AutoAttic process runs unattended for 24 hours, it will only restock at these specific timeframes.
For example: [11, 16], the AutoAttic process will only activate if your local time is greater or equal to 11 AM and if it is less or equal to 16 / 4 PM. If your local time is not within those timeframes, the AutoAttic process will stop itself.
If unsure, leave the default value [0,23] to run the AutoAttic process anytime you browse a main shop.
-
Minimum Refresh Interval: Minimum time in milliseconds between refreshes if time is within the Attic possible restock window.
-
Maximum Refresh Interval: Maximum time in milliseconds between refreshes if time is within the Attic possible restock window.
-
Auto-Click Items in the Almost Abandoned Attic: This option allows the AutoAttic to automatically click items in shop stocks if said items are either present in the Restocking List or the Item Database.
-
Minimum Item Buy Time: Minimum buy speed in milliseconds to acquire an item.
-
Maximum Item Buy Time: Minimum buy speed in milliseconds to acquire an item.
-
Go for 2nd Best Item: This setting is better suited for slower internet connections. Instead of aiming for the best item in stock, the AutoAttic process prioritizes the second-best item for a better chance of success. If enabled, the AutoAttic process will still buy the sole worthwhile item if only one is available for purchase.
-
Refresh Through Page Load Failures: If Neopets' servers reject a request and the page fails to load, this feature will automatically refresh the page after a few seconds.
- Use Item Database Value Estimates:
The AutoAttic process keeps track of 3 constants: Price, Value, and Profit.
-
Price: Price is the item's stocking price, what you pay to buy the item.
-
Value: Value is the item's market value without the stocking Price subtraction.
- Profit: Profit is the result of the Value minus the stocking Price.
If enabled, the AutoAttic process will target items exclusively based on its item database and its preset settings. More on this setting later.
- AutoAttic Restock List: With the Restocking List method, this setting will dictate the items and the priority the extension will give a potential item in stock. The restocking list must be ordered from most profitable to least profitable. You can group by store. Restocking lists need to be updated manually over time. You can use the "Restock List Generator" inside the "Tools" menu to create custom lists automatically.
-
Minimum Profit to Click Item: The AutoAttic process will only buy an item if its Profit Margin surpasses the amount inputted in this field. This setting only applies while using the item database.
-
Minimum Profit Percentage to Click Item: The AutoAttic process will buy an item only if its Profit Percentage is greater than the amount provided. This setting only applies while using the item database. We recommend only using the "Minimum Profit to Click Item." Use decimal numbers only. For Example: 0.5 (50% profitability margin).
-
Estimated Profit of Items not in Item DB: The AutoAttic process will assume the default profit amount inputted in this field for items not found in the database. This feature can come in handy for new, unlisted items.
-
Minimum Rarity to Click Profitable Items: The AutoAttic process will only acquire items over that rarity threshold. Minimum rarity: 1. Maximum rarity: 100.
-
Use a Blacklist of Items to not Purchase: The AutoAttic process will prevent clicking on Blacklisted items, irrespective of whether those items meet the profit criteria. Blacklists override other settings, ensuring the AutoAttic process does not buy any Blacklisted items. This feature is useful for countering inaccurate or outdated price estimates in the item database.
-
Blacklist: The list used to not buy items based on the database entries. Enter one item per line, its order is not important.
-
Show Status Banner: This setting toggles the banner text shown on the shop pages.
-
Highlight Desired Attic Items: The AutoAttic process will highlight items of interest based on your configuration presets. The highest valued item in stock is highlighted in orange, while other items of interest will be highlighted in green.
-
Show Chrome Notifications: The AutoAttic process will send notifications when important events occur. For example: Purchases, Shop Clears, and More
-
Change Page Information: If enabled, the AutoAttic process will change the titles on tabs to reflect the status of the AutoAttic process.
-
Sound Alerts: If enabled, the AutoAttic process will provide audible notifications during page actions.
