Usage

The sink works mostly like a cauldron, it can be filled with a water bucket or bottle, or if there's a water source under the floor it will grab that water instead. It can be used to remove dye off of armor and shulker boxes, it can extinguish fire and it outputs a comparator signal as well.

Crafting

There are 2 sink styles, one of them with many variations to match kitchen counters, you'll need quartz, or planks, logs, or stone depending on which sink type you're crafting, and an iron ingot and a bucket. To get the different wood or stone types just replace the oak with the wood material you want to use for crafting.
