The MSC (multi-scale-coupled) TurbOPark model is based on the work of Dr. Sebastiano Stipa. His PhD thesis included taking the 3LM model developed by Allaerts and Meyers and extending it. There are some minor differences between the model presented by Stipa and what is presented

Boundary Layer Height - checking this box will result in the met data value being overridden using the values this is the specified to the right.

Reference Potential Temperature - specified the reference potential temperature to be used by the model for all time steps.

Potential Temperature Jump on Capping - checking this box will cause the model to use this fixed value rather than the values from the met mast.

Lapse Rate Above Capping Inversion - this is the temperature lapse rate above the top of the boundary layer and is kept constant for all time steps.

Default Roughness Length - checking this box will cause the model to use the fixed value for all time steps rather than referencing the roughness lengths that can be seen by the turbines.

Monin-Obukhov Length - checking this box will cause the model to use the fixed value of Monin-Obukhov length rather than the values from the met mast.
