How to cite plugin? - UU-cellbiology/BigTrace GitHub Wiki

We do not have a separate paper for this plugin (yet?), it is constantly under development.

Therefore, you can just cite it by providing a direct link to the code/repository
or use zenodo DOI. And you need to specify the version that you've used.
Something like this:

"3D movies were generated using BigTrace plugin for FIJI [N]"
....
....
[N] Katrukha E.A. 2021, BigTrace plugin for FIJI, v.X.X.X, Zenodo, doi:10.5281/zenodo.17185904

or

"filament shape was extracted using BigTrace plugin v.X.X.X plugin for FIJI (https://github.com/ekatrukha/BigTrace). Tracing parameters used were..."
