Field Sample ID conventions for ADA chemistry samples - USEPA/SuRGE GitHub Wiki
The ADA General Parameters Laboratory will analyze all chemistry samples generated from the ADA field crew (minus metals which are analyzed in CIN). Their data reports include a Field Sample ID
field for each sample. Values for the field follow this convention:
- The last two digits of the sample ID represent depth and sample type, respectively.
- The sixth digit is S for shallow, D for deep, NB is nutrient blank.
- Seventh digit is U for unknown, D for Dup, and NB is nutrient blank.
