Project Requirements Table Template

Project requirements are a comprehensive set of very specific and quantifiable subgoals the project design must be able to achieve. Listing these out helps greatly in defining projects and understanding all you need to do in an otherwise overwhelming and complex design process. You should start projects by making a list, but that list can also change and probably will change throughout the course of the project. Requirements will generally follow this phrasing (not a hard and fast rule):
[Project] shall maintain/protect from/achieve/allow for/[other action word] [quantifiable goal]
Example: The BMS must automatically enter the vehicle into safe state when it detects battery array voltage >=126 V (overvoltage).
