--- Ultimate Skill Icon

The design of the icon was inspired by the understanding of time. Because the ultimate skill that our group designed is about time stopping, so that means our icon should be related to time stopping, so I need to find two elements to represent time and stopping respectively. The clock is the element that I think can represent time the most, because we all use clocks in our life to observe our current time, and ice is an element that I think can freeze time, so the final design of the icon is to cover the clock with a layer of ice to represent the meaning of time stop.

This is one of the most challenging pixel motion pictures I've designed, it contains a total of 26 frames now, and should be 35 frames by the time the final version is ready. Because our ultimate skill is to highlight the two characteristics of time stop and cause damage, so I refer to an anime character named - Seitaro. In this show, he has a DOUBLE called ‘Star Platinum’, and his DOUBLE ability is exactly to satisfy these two elements, so I used it as a prototype for our group's ultimate skill. But because there are a lot of movements, many frames had to be added during the design to perfect the fluidity and conformity of the whole animation.

As a result of our group discussions during sprint3, we decided to design two ultimate skills for players to choose from (one out of two). These two ultimate skill capabilities have certain points in common, that is, both will time stop. But the former time stop duration is shorter, but the damage caused is higher; the latter time stop duration is longer but the damage is not particularly objective, and the attack method is changed from boxing to throwing objects.

And the second ultimate skill animation design inspiration and the first is very much the same, are from the same anime characters, it just so happens that both characters have the element of time stop, which makes the two animations will be more compatible.
