Tree Design
Workes on issue #44
In order for there to be basic environmental interaction and effects of physics to exist, trees are fundamental for both decoration and interaction for the user. After some team discussion, Sprint 1 for Map and Environment creation was broken down into multiple components, and Tree is one of them.
First Iteration - brainstorming
A couple of tree designs developed when first brainstoprming what the team would like the trees to look like are displayed here:
First Iteration - Design
The first iteration of the tree component for the environmental variables section of map design was developed as follows:
A second tree was designed based on the original sketches and also implemented with the game, as can be seen below.
As the game development process continues, further trees and other botanical features will be designed and documented.

The following images displayed showcase the color pallete utilized in order to create the above iteration of a deploy-able tree component.

The images shown below were initially used for generating ideas as to how the palm tree should be resembled in the game:
Second Iteration - Designing
The second iteration of the tree component for the environmental variables section of map design was developed to be further refined and have better quality so as to make it match the theme of atlantis by designing it to be a Palm tree. It's design journey is shown below:
Second Iteration - Color Scheme
The color scheme for the refined Palm tree has been contained to Lospect500 color palette only to maintain consistency and provide a better flow of colors.
