Sink Atlantis Overview

Welcome to Atlantis Sinks! You are playing a balding plumber in an ancient Greek setting, after being pissed off of being the only hard-working plumber unclogging all the toilets you now want to pull the ultimate plug of the island to sink Atlantis.

Your goal is to collect weapons, kill enemies who have wronged you, interact with NPC’s to get crafting items, make weapons into stronger weapons through crafting, move to level 2 to fight the final boss and discover the map.

Playing the Game:

There are multiple ways to play the game, but once you die you will start again (a true rougelike game) and lose all saved progress. Use W, S, A, and D to move around the map to explore. You must craft weapons to kill enemies by interacting with the NPC's by pressing F. The guard NPC will give you the materials to craft a pipe, craft this on the crafting table and use it to defeat weapons. Note that you'll start off with a plunger, this is a basic low-hitting weapon.

You have multiple ways to kill enemies, you can either:

1. Create a weapon via Crafting, it'll be added to your inventory. Press I to equip a weapon through the inventory, close the inventory by pressing I again, and then press SPACEBAR to hit enemies with the weapon
2. Use your skills by pressing E or J, but these might not be enemy fighting skills!

Crafting:

When you kill enemies they drop items, NPC's also give you items so be sure to interact with them using F , they like gold, rubber, toilet paper, poop, iron etc, you can collect these, go to the crafting table (see images), press Q and it'll automatically show you the catalogue of what you can create, navigate to you're inventory and start crafting! This is vital to create weapons to kill the final bosses - and thus win.

Level 1 Map:

• Orange Things you need to kill and enter to change levels
• Pink Things you can kill
• Blue NPC's to interact with using 'F'

Level 2 Map:

• Orange Things you need to kill and enter to change levels
• Pink Things you can kill
• Blue NPC's to interact with using 'F'

To progress to level 2:

1. You must kill Heracles (see image)

2. Stand on level 1's plug (see map) and press ENTER [Let the transition screen load, this might take a few seconds, don't click any other button while waiting]

To win the game:

1. You must kill MegaPoop (see image)

2. Stand on level 2's plug (see map) and press ENTER

Key Binds

A key bind menu can be found when you press ESC to access the pause screen, and then click on 'Controls' to see the keybind menu.

Movement:

• Move up - W
• Move down - S
• Move left A
• Move right - D
• Dash/ fast temporary movement - SHIFT
• Enter portal/plug - ENTER

Open Things:

• Open crafting menu - Q
• Open inventory - I
• Open pause menu - ESC
• Open map - M

Quick bar use:

From left to right on the screen

• Item 3 - 3

Attack Enemies, Use Skills, Interaction:

• Attack with an equipped weapon - SPACEBAR
• Use skill 1 - J

In-game Player Guide

To help users understand how to do a simple task and know basic information about the game, an in-game player guide was created. This includes information such as game overview, how to craft, finding items, information about weapons, skill tree information, accessing inventory as well as how to win the game. This is implemented for both levels 1 and 2 of the game and it can be accessed by clicking ESC and the Player Guide button on the pause screen.
