User Testing
Since the survey method used for user testing in sprint 2 did not respond well, our use of interview-based user testing in sprint 3 to collect usable feedback was better and more constructive feedback could be collected. , so in sprint4 we will continue to use the method used in sprint3 to collect data. Questions are as follows. (10 responders)
The purpose of this user test is to evaluate user perceptions and feedback on the new effects of the Inventory button in the game. Also, other questions are gathering opinions on button effects and future final iterations.
Result
First of all, the new effect of the keys is considered by most testers to be acceptable and in line with our game. Although the new effect is only a color change, it will be better than the cracked effect. Only a small number of people thought it was better than the split effect, so we changed to only darken the button color, and the color combination is designed in a gradual way, reducing the occurrence of errors.
Future Test Plan
The future design of the inventory button should be optimized and changed in terms of effects and animations. Therefore, we need to user test the design, appearance and performance of these buttons. But since this is the last sprint, it is possible that the current version will also be the final version. Also, if more buttons and button animations need to be designed, these will be styled based on the existing buttons and used together for the next phase of user testing, which will be interviewed in the studio.
