The Map / Environment feature is going to be a team-based component of the game that will be custom developed to suit the theme of Atlantis. The map is going to be a fundamental dependency to many aspects of the game as the player, npcs, items and interactive objects are going to be placed on the map itself. The map also contributes to the emotional experience the user will face, affect their gameplay and also contain a foundation for further display of graphics such as explosions, special effects, particles and much more. This page documents of the design process and justifies the creation of Map and Environmental design components created by Team 5 that works alongside with Team 7. The page should contain base designs and further iterations to refine the overall look of the game.
