Question 1 and 2

Aim:

The aim of question 1 is to determine whether the survey-takers are completely satisfied with the static main menu UI. The aim of question 2 is to allow those who aren't fully satisfied to choose between possible changes. Additionally, they can give their own ideas.

Raw Data:

Analysis and Call to Action:

In review of the above responses, 50% of respondents were not fully satisfied with this design. In the feedback section, it is clear that if the clouds behind the title were removed, and the water was re-designed to look less pixelated and have less contrasting shades, a large majority of users would be fully satisfied. Hence, these changes will be made in the next design iteration.

Question 3

This question was included to help gauge the popularity of adding continuous animations, such as moving water, moving clouds, or title movement.

Raw Data:

Analysis and Call to Action:

As seen in the raw data, every respondent agreed that the implementation of continuous animations would be a worthwhile venture. Hence, this task was planned to be completed in sprint 4.

Question 4 and 5

Aim:

The aim of question 4 is to determine whether the survey-takers are completely satisfied with the main menu animation. The aim of question 5 is to allow those who aren't fully satisfied to give ideas for possible changes.

Raw Data:

Analysis and Call to Action:

As seen in the raw data, nearly every respondent agreed that the main menu animation does not need to be changed. The one respondent who disagreed made the suggestion to remove the last frame, prompting the user to press enter to continue. Due to our team's technical capabilities, this is not possible, and will need to be kept in the animation.
