Design at End of Sprint 3

This is the design that was used at the end of sprint 3. This design was also user tested in the early stages of sprint 4. Changes will be made based on the feedback recieved throughout user testing, and will be explained in the next section.

Plan for Changes to Design

After user testing the aforementioned design, the following changes were made:

  • Change the design of the water, so that it looks less jarring and pixelated

  • Remove the clouds from behind the title text

Main Screen Animation at End of Sprint 3

This is the animation that was used at the end of sprint 3. This animation was also user tested in the early stages of sprint 4. Changes will be made based on the feedback recieved throughout user testing, and will be explained in the next section.

Plan for Changes to Design

  • Update the animation accordingly, so that the new static menu matches the animation

Plan for Automatic-Start Animations

In sprint 4, our team decided that some sort of automatic-playing animation should play immediately as the user opens the application.

A plan was made before creating the animation. This planning determined that the animation would have the title text move in a rippling motion repeatedly.

In order to ensure that the animation overlay would'nt interrupt the widgets on the main screen, the whole animation was cropped to just below the title.
