Sketching Process
After research, loose sketches were created before commiting resources to medium-high fidelity designs.
Ideation Process
In combination with the materials created in Sprint One, the following materials were collated for user testing to determine the final iteration of the materials' designs: (The following images were made in Pixaki/Pixil, and are in 32 x 32 pixel size)
Design Iterations
After feedback was received the following designs were updated:

Directly responding to feedback, the changes were mostly shading and overall composition adjustments, with the most prominent change being adding a golden accent to the centre of the silver - this was to offset the awkwardness of the empty space.
Future Directions
In terms of the materials, future plans will likely be adding to the current inventory of crafting materials as other items (primarily combat items) are created and therefore new materials are required to create them. One particular change that will be at the top of the priority list is updating the steel logs visual asset by making them thinner and more similar to real-life steel cylinders. This task was not completed during this sprint due to time constraints and other tasks taking priority.
