Inspirations

In inital phases the team explored with NPCs being merpeople (as the theme is atlantis sinks) or centuar (like the main character) but later go the other way as we realise it might not fit well with the theme.

We did co-designing sessions with potential users and their results are posted in the other section. But our main inspirations are shown below:

Design Process

After gaining inspiration from outside sources, we created the designs using Pixilart.

The following process was loosely followed when creating designs:

  1. Find a photo / idea as inspiration
  2. Create a basic sketch to get an idea of shapes and colours
  3. Create multiple iterations and improve upon them each time
  4. When a final design has been established, add extra details e.g. shading
  5. Export the file as .png
  6. Place the image into images/npcs and commit to the repository
