The Periscope is used to adjust the height of the optical system. It becomes especially critical when connecting optical systems with different sizes, such as a one-inch optical system connected to a half-inch optical system.

Telescope is also included. It consists of two slots for lenses. The ratio of the focal lengths, as well as the orientation of the baseplate, will determine whether the beam size is reduced, expanded, or maintained at the same size.
