A cover box can prevent acoustic noise, clean environment for the optical components. We can add cover box to any baseplate we want by adding the cover box function: baseplate.add_cover(dz=50) Here, dz is the height of the cover box.

Few things to keep in mind when adding a cover box.

• Make the baseplate dimension bigger to accommodate the cover box.
• Make sure all the thumbscrews are inside the box.
• Check the wireframe view to make sure every components looks ok and there are proper cutout for incoming and outgoing beams.
