What is the Data Center Platform (DCP)

This is the current DCP that we have running which houses most of the SPICE infrastructure.

What is the purpose of the DCP

The purpose of the DCP is to house the majority of the infrastructure. This infrastructure includes networking such as firewall and switches, one of which is 10 gigabit. The main pieces of infrastructure are the hypervisors which each have different roles. The 3 hypervisors can be split up into the central SPICE network infrastructure, Web Proxy and Automation, and Competition / Lab Prep. Lastly the DPC is where the Network Attached Storage (NAS) and the Admin Jumpbox is housed.
