1. Database locations and name
New data location: New data from Diane is placed on the Shared Google Drive. (Shared drives\UGS_Shared\Web Services\Projects\UWPW - Wetlands Plant Portal\data)

2. Schema
Database schema is documented here. Domains, Indexes, and relationships are all outlined in the schema document.
3. Permissions
The data that Diane provides is on the Shared Drive and is accessible by anyone with folder access rights. The final data is in the ugsgwp SDE and is only accessible by the data manager and the web services manager.
4. Workflow
Diane derives the new data from her project Access database and moves the data onto the Google Shared Drive. She provides a CSV of site/species/photo/project information and a geodatabase with a point feature class of all the sites. She labels the sites that need to be added as “New”. If the new sites are private, their locations are moved, randomly 500- 1000m in either/both the x,y direction using a short python script. Once all sites are in their desired location, the data is joined to the CSV's via Survey Event ID, relationships are re-established and the data is uploaded to the SDE. If photos are available for the sites, they are attached in the gdb to the sites feature class. The data is checked for known errors (data spreadsheet) and then uploaded to AGOL.
