Network Setup

Windows Network Setup

The Wolf Tracker uses statically addressed Ubiquiti radios to fullfill networking needs. To setup a laptop to talk to the Wolf Tracker follow these simple steps:

  1. First connect the Ubiquiti radio to power and you're computer's ethernet

  2. Open the Network and Sharing Center

  3. Click on "Change adapter settings"

  4. Right click on "Local Area Connection" and click on "Properties"

  5. Select "Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4)", then click "Properties"

  6. Set the properties to the following:

  7. Click OK and you're done! To test if you have configure you're network correctly turn on the wolf tracker robot, wait a minute or two, then head on to: 192.168.1.6/wolfTracker/

If a page doesn't come up at first, try refreshing the page. If it doesn't work 3 minutes after starting up then something is wrong with the network.
