This tutorial contains a number of use cases for the shipviz tool (under development).

• Ships travelling to/from emission control areas (ECAs) by ship type, origin/destination area, etc.
• Local and global changes in vessel supply, firstly by regular bins, secondly according to sea areas
• Behavioural patterns by area to detect high-speed locations, for example
• Minimum sailing distance to point/region to account for future supply of ships
