Code of Conduct - U30Change/CoC GitHub Wiki
We strive to:
- Be Generous. Focus on how you can help instead of what you can get. The pie of resources is not finite. It continues to grow as society benefits from others’ success.
- Be Respectful. Disagreement is no excuse for poor manners. We work together to resolve conflict, assume good intentions and do our best to act in an empathic fashion. We don't allow frustration to turn into an attack. A community where people feel uncomfortable or threatened is not a productive one.
- Take Responsibility. We own our words and actions. We can admit our own mistakes and work through our differences directly with the person we are disputing.
- Put People First. We are here to support each other by holding space. We build things with and for each other, so we put people first in our investments, our interactions, and relationships.
- Be Collaborative. What we produce is a complex whole made of many parts, it is the sum of many dreams. Collaboration between teams that each have their own goal and vision is essential; for the whole to be more than the sum of its parts, each part must make an effort to understand the whole.
- Be Transparent. We hold honesty in the highest regard. We are open about not having all the answers and ask questions when needed.
- Be Humble. We recognize and accept our own limitations while remaining grateful for what we have already achieved.
