  8. What are the existing solutions to the problem?

The existing solutions for 3D printing include different types of 3D printers that are commercially available and used for producing three-dimensional objects. Some of the commonly available solutions are:

  1. FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D Printer – Uses thermoplastic filament and deposits it layer by layer to create a three-dimensional object.

  2. SLA (Stereolithography) 3D Printer – Uses liquid resin and cures it layer by layer using a light source.

  3. SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) 3D Printer – Uses powdered material and selectively fuses the material layer by layer.

  4. Resin 3D Printer – Uses liquid photopolymer resin to produce detailed 3D objects.

  5. DIY 3D Printer – A 3D printer assembled using separately available mechanical and electronic components.

These existing solutions will be studied to understand their working principles, components, construction, advantages, and limitations.
