A variety of plugins that modify, expand, and/or enhance the default functionality of Gartic Phone are available as browser extensions. These features include things such as line smoothing, wider range of brush sizes, custom palettes, line symmetry, granular playback during reveals, enhanced moderation tools, and more.

Below is a collection of notable plugins with a list of highlighted features and links to downloads. Simple instructions for importing palettes have been provided for ease of use. Please note, custom avatars only appear for you and others with the same plugins installed. For additional support and information, please visit the respective Discord servers.

Description

gp-mod is a subscription-based set of tools created by Russian programmer hakoska, with the plugin itself featuring language options for Russian and English. gp-mod is a paid plugin via monthly subscription, with three versions available: basic (free), artist edition ($1 usd / month), and streamer edition ($2 usd / month), however a free trial is available by request. These plugins are favored by advanced users due to the inclusion of feature-dense functions such as: line smoothing, custom sizing / opacity / brightness settings, canvas zoom, symmetry guides, custom backgrounds, ability to customize the default interface with colors / opacity, searchable reference tool for art references, importable palettes with a single file, timelapse player with granular playback options, removal of the Gartic Phone watermark on the canvas, and much more.

Installation

Note: Requires a Chromium-based browser (Google Chrome, Vivaldi, Opera, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Yandex Browser, etc.)

  • Obtain a subscription key or free trial key. Free trial keys can be obtained by joining the Discord and sending a message to hakoska directly.
  • Go to the Gartic Phone lobby and enter the key in the module manager.
  • Reload the page and enter the game with authorization via Twitch or Discord.

Important: For the plugin to work you MUST login via Twitch or Discord each time you join a lobby.

Import custom palettes

Players can create their own palette using Shift (add color), Ctrl (remove color), and Alt (move color), or download palettes from lospec. To import from lospec, download files in HEX format (.hex) and rename the file extension from (.hex) to (.gppal). Once the palette file has been downloaded, use the middle-scroll wheel while hovering over the color picker to swap to the custom palette menu, then drag-and-drop the file onto the color picker.
