The Glutton Block is a very important block to have in mid to late progression. You can feed it to get ressources. The value of these ressources depend on the quality and origins of what you feed it. Feeding it raw meat will give items from the first tier. Feeding it cooked meat and flesh related blocks will give items from the second tier. Finally, feeding it precious materials like iron & gold ingots, golden apples & carrots and chorus fruit will give items from the third tier.

Feeding the Glutton Block Desolate Soil will give items related to the Deep Void, which is a core component to getting the Shatterbone Pickaxe to mine Voidrium.

Feeding the Glutton Block Soul Sand or Soil will give items related to the Nether instead and feeding it End Stone will give items related to the End.

Loot Tables

Tier 1

Loot in this tier is given when the glutton block is fed the following: raw meat, vegetables, dried kelp, bones and bone foods, rotten flesh, fruits, flesh, spider eyes or goo balls.

The items that can be given in this tier are: sticks, string, wheat, lily pads, ink sacs, wheat seeds, gunpowder, paper, rabbit hides, spider eyes, bone meal, bottles, clay balls, bowls, feathers or vines.

Tier 2

Loot in this tier is given when the glutton block is fed the following: cooked meat, honey bottles, eyes, rotten delights, necrosed skin, chorus fruits, cinnabar rolls or grimberry pies.

The items that can be given in this tier are: coal, glow ink sacs, leather, glowstone dust, iron nuggets, gold nuggets, quartz, arrows, copper ingots, slime balls or books.

Tier 3

Loot in this tier is given when the glutton block is fed the following: iron ingots, gold ingots, glistering melon slices, rabbit feet, stalker treats, golden apples, enchanted golden apples, golden eyeballs or ambrosia.

The items that can be given in this tier are: emeralds, amethyst shards, prismarine crystals, prismarine shards, redstone dust, phantom membranes, spectral arrows, golden carrots, pumpkin pies, cinnabar, lapis lazuli or fermented spider eyes.

Deep Void

Loot in this tier is given when the glutton block is fed the following: desolate soil.

The items that can be given in this tier are: grim shards, rotten bones, onyx, cinnabar, lavendite, iron nuggets, gold nuggets, coal, black moss or ancient onyx.

Nether

Loot in this tier is given when the glutton block is fed the following: soul soil or soul sand.

The items that can be given in this tier are: nether warts, nether bricks, quartz, gold nuggets, glowstone dust, flint, bones, sulfur, coal or ghast tears.

End

Loot in this tier is given when the glutton block is fed the following: End stone.

The items that can be given in this tier are: ender pearls, chorus fruits, popped chorus fruits, shulker shells, elytra pieces, purpur blocks, end stone bricks, end rods, blaze rods or dragon breath.
