If the object of the testing is different from the one published on the klipper page
follow these instructions:
my object height is 71,8mm, so taller,
and to test with more precision I do
TUNING_TOWER COMMAND=SET_PRESSURE_ADVANCE PARAMETER=ADVANCE START=0 FACTOR=.002
(instead 0.005)
my height at correct pressure advance is 32mm
Klipper says
Start + (Correct Height * factor)
0 + 32mm *0.002 factor = 0.064
but the factor is increased at every layer, not at every millimiter...
I read from Console:
Starting tuning test (start=0.000000 factor=0.002000)
File selected
File opened: Object.gcode
Size:4485980
pressure_advance: 0.000400
pressure_advance: 0.000720
[...]
so the difference is
+0,00032 at layer
and not 0.002
(maybe it changes because my object is taller than the one is on klipper test page)
measured_height printed object 71,8mm/359 layers (read on klipper) = 0.2mm layer height
it's correct as I set in slicer.
The height with the correct pressure advance = 32mm
32mm / 0.2mm = 160° layer
160 * 0,00032 = 0.0512 of pressure advance
otherwise
in console check the last command, in my case:
pressure_advance: 0.11488
71.8 : 0.11488 = 32 : X
same result!
