Version 3.0 is the biggest update ever released for Total RP 3 and comes with a lot of new features as well as changes to the existing interface. This article aims to give a comprehensive, illustrated look at the main changes brought by the new update.

[!NOTE] Some of these changes were not applied to Classic due to missing resources.

Toolbar

2 new buttons were added to the toolbar, while existing buttons received updated icons.

Walkup friendly

This setting tells players whether you are okay with them walking up to your character.

This will be shown on your profile.

It must be set again upon update, and can now be seen on your profile.

Relations

Relations you can set with another character profile are now fully customizable, letting you modify existing ones as well as create new ones.

[!NOTE] Those relations are personal and will not be shared with other players.

In addition to changing the tooltip border color, a new line now gets added to the tooltip below guild information, indicating the relation you have set. It can be disabled, or set to display the relation description instead.

Everything else about relations works just as before, with profiles you have a relation with showing as colored dots on the map scan, as well as them being exempt from the automatic directory purge of profiles you haven't seen in a while.

Additional Info / Personality Traits

Reorder

Lines in these categories can now be reordered by drag and dropping the reorder button on the left of a line.

New actions

The delete button was converted into an action button, adding the ability to duplicate a line, as well as converting a preset line into a custom line.

Additional info for tooltip

Additional info presets that show information on your tooltip are now identified with an icon on the dropdown entry. Be warned that converting them into custom lines will remove them from your tooltip.

Roleplay style

The following fields were added:

• Accept criminal activity
  • Indicates whether you are comfortable with your character getting subjected to criminal activity, such as being mugged
• Accept loss of control
  • Indicates whether you are comfortable with your character getting subjected to loss of control, such as being temporarily imprisoned of mind-controlled.

The following fields were removed:

• In-character frequence
• Roleplay battle resolution

Miscellaneous features

Icon button options

You can now right-click on icon buttons in the TRP window to copy an icon and paste it on another icon. You can also copy its name if needed.

Backgrounds browser

A new backgrounds browser has been added to more easily choose a fitting background for your About section. More than 30 backgrounds have also been added.

More consistent instructions

Tooltips have been improved across the addon to have a more consistent formatting, so you can more easily see what actions are available on a given element.

Settings

Settings category names have been shortened to be more readable, and the "Frames settings" category has been split between Toolbar and Target Frame categories. The map scan button settings are now located in the Directory section, alongside the scan settings themselves.
