Release Process - TorSalve/vrevaluation-test GitHub Wiki
How we release
We release new versions of the guidelines and checklist, such that new input is reflected. In general, the version of guidelines and checklist found on vrevaluation.github.io always is the newest. As we want to continuously want to compile new versions of guidelines and checklist, we use Github as a tool for keeping track of changes. This means that you can find all pdf versions and changelogs at the releases page.
Versioning
Both homepage and pdf's are marked with a version, consisting of three numbers in the format: major.minor.revision
. The major
version is changed if the new guidelines/checklist are not compatible with previous versions. The minor
is changed when a guideline or checklist point receives a larger overhaul and the revision
version is changed when small changes (e.g., typos, reformating) are conducted.
Changes will be documented in the changelogs.
