This AnaLog release focuses on the following goals:

• Support file log access restriction (#20)
• Provide English translation for web UI and important log messages (#22)
• Fix a couple of bugs with UI components behavior
• Upgrade underlying tool stack

This document briefly describes the external changes brought by achievement of these goals.

From this version on AnaLog bases on Java 12 and thus requires appropriate runtime to work. For a comprehensive list of modern Java distributions see https://jdk.dev.

There is no required changes to AnaLog configuration that must be done for v0.12 to work. But there are some optional changes that you may find valuable to apply. All of them concern log access restriction and are described in corresponding Wiki document.

From this version on, AnaLog supports two languages in its web UI and log messages (English and Russian). By default, English is used for both places.

The solution behind the support is far not the complete internationalization feature and thus it’s not intended for wide use due high probability of changing. Please contact the author if you have any questions or proposals.
