Assembly table - Toofifty/iron-suits GitHub Wiki
The Assembly Table is the heart of the mod - it is used both to create the unique pieces of armour, and to add modules to those pieces. To use an Assembly Table, you will need a power source (generator, battery, or a fuel item) and any other materials/modules that are needed in your construction or upgrade.
Construction
The completed Assembler requires two blocks to function, an Assembly Table and an Assembly Desk. When an Assembly Desk is placed on top of an Assembly Table, you will receive a message saying that an Assembler has been created, and you will now be able to open the fuel input through the base and the main Assembler GUI through the desk. Crafting of the two blocks are as follows:

Assembling an armour piece
To create a new piece of armour, you will first need your desired material as well as your desired set's blueprint. You then insert your metal into the crafting grid and your blueprint into the blueprint slot and press the Assemble
button.
More advanced and higher-tier armour sets will require more time and more energy to create, so take this into account when stocking up on fuel. The build time for each tier is listed below.
For comparison: a chunk of coal will last 10 seconds in the Assembly Table.
Tier | Piece build time |
---|---|
1 |
5 seconds |
2 |
10 seconds |
3 |
20 seconds |
4 |
60 seconds |
5 |
300 seconds |
Any fuel burning or energy still remaining in the machine will be lost once it completes an item.
All but tier 1
also require a Circuit to assemble the piece, and tiers 4
and 5
will require an Advanced Circuit.
Note that the blueprint will be destroyed upon creation of an armour piece, and so it is wise to copy the blueprint beforehand.
Modularification
Modules can also be added to armour pieces through the Assembler. Each requires either a Circuit or Advanced Circuit to attach, and also (a smaller amount of) time to affix to your garments. Read more about modules, modular capacity and attaching modules here.
