Teammate 1: Tonderai Kambarami

Teammate 2: Luis Guillermo Usseglio-Carbajal

Teammate 3: Reed Bader

1)Introduction

For this fourth project our group was conform of 3 students(Luis Usseglio, Tonderai Kambarami, and Bader Reed). The project consisted of creating an Android app development to turn on and off a LED light with Arduino.

2)Objectives

• Connect a Blutooth sensor and a LED with Arduino.
• Display the results in android app develop using MIT App inventor.
• Generate notification if cellphone is connected or not to Bluetooth.
• Control LED power on and off from app.

3)Approaches/Methods

We used a bread board to connect the LED and Bluetooth sensor to the Arduino, and then we created an app to control the switch on and off of the LED.

4)Workflow

We divided the work load into all members of group, we couldn't finish all the project in class since this was a short class, but we manage to finish the project at our homes. In overall, it was an easy project, and we were able to finish all the objectives of this project

5)Circuit Diagram

6)Parameters

None.

7)Evaluation

Photos of our code can be found below.

Images of our set up and how we connected the Arduino board and the breadboard with the resistors and switcher can be found below.

8)Conclusion

This ICP was the fourth one of this semester, and it was fun to learn how to create an app and have control of the power of the LED via an smart phone.
