Project overview

This project is going to be a grade tracking mobile and web app which use a database to store and retrieve data. The languages we are using are:

• Ionic React - Mobile and web application
• Firebase - Database, Authentication and Hosting

We decided to use React as it is a language we have little knowledge in, but is beneficial to have experience with. We chose not to use react native for web as it is only compatible with the older version of react native (0.55) therefore limiting us with any features react native has beyond that. We had also been debating whether to use ionic react or Reactjs and native. We landed on ionic as it would be incredibly efficient for development.
