###Can I use both Voltages and VME?

• I've never made a ribbon cable myself - it might be possible to just attach 3 x sockets to one bit of ribbon and do the same thing.
• I haven't tested this, I don't know if the chips on the backpack can put out enough power.
• Alternatively, you'd need something like a bussboard, but NOT a standard Euro power bussboard.
• Standard Euro power = the two columns of pins do exactly the same thing, so you can use a bit of veroboard to make a bussboard.
• Expander ribbon cables = more of the 16 pins are carrying different signals, so need to be connected exactly.
• If you connected three of those 8x2 pin headers together on a pcb or a (tedious job) bit of perfboard, you could make a splitter for the expander cables.
• Either way, you should probably also either short-circuit or replace the fuses in the expander because you'd have 40+ LEDs being driven
