ROS Group Meeting -- Thursday 08 August 2013 Meeting called to order at 12:00 pm by meeting chair Tom Hulme. Scheduled Group Meeting
Members present: Tom, Johnny, Theo, Chris, Benny, Tae, Nicole
Agenda Item #1: Group Progress with ROS Discussion: Everyone is very busy, so progress is somewhat slow. Action: Everyone has agreed to put in plenty of work over the weekend, as they will be less busy then.
Agenda Item #2: Alpha Planning Discussion: Truck and Sheep sales. Action: As a group we decided the word "truck" appearing once on the handout did not warrant an additional robot being created. Sheep will just be herded into a set area of the farm - where they will be removed by the farmer and sold.
Agenda Item #3: Good Looking Robots Discussion: Robots can look better than cubes. Action: Johnny figured out how to make the robots look nice, and made some good looking grass. We decided to have good looking robots for the alpha if possible. All we need is FREE bitmaps to use.
Agenda Item #4: Handling Robots Discussion: Can we use Arrays of Handlers of Robots? Action: Learn to use ROS better so we can understand how everything works.
