Three pushbuttons give you a user interface, e.g. to change the radar distance and height difference as well as selecting other features. I normally use micro switches 6x6 mm in an appropriate length.

Pushbutton	PIN# on Raspberry
Left	37
Middle	38
Right	40

All pushbuttons are used as pull down. Connect the other side of all buttons to GND (PIN39).
