• I learned about reproducibility and the importance of doing more of our work on the cloud. We also had a hands-on session trying out Shell on Cyverse. One thing I'm looking forward to is the time when I will need to use Cyverse resources to do my work

Bud:

Something that you are looking forward to digging into deeper. This could also include ideas on how to apply concepts to your research in the future.

• I want to learn more about Shell and how it can optimize my work.

Thorn:

Something that was challenging that could be worked on, such as anything that wasn't 100% clear and could be elaborated on. Any sticking points should be addressed here.

• I wasn't so sure about what we were trying to do during the hands-on session. I guess it would have been better to have a clear picture of what we were trying to achieve.
