Phrygian Infantrymen are dangerous and well equipped, and are most effective against heavy infantry. They wear greek linothoraxes and use a hoplon for defense, which makes them able to endure slow fights against other infantry, and their weapon of choice is a mace, which is a powerful and fear-inspiring weapon for their enemies. The blunt force of the mace makes them incredibly effective against heavily armoured foes.

They are however vulnarable when they find themselves charged by heavy cavalry.
