Windows NT 3.51
Windows NT 3.51 is the predecessor of Windows 4.0 it is the last of the Windows NT Family. The operating system was released to power the IBM PowerPC. It was for this reason that it was nicknamed the PowerPC. The new features of the operating system included NTFS file compression, 3D support for OpenGL, TCP/IP optimization and inclusion of text description on mouse pointers. Windows 4.0 is the successor to Windows NT 3.51, it was also the last release that supported the IBM PowerPC and other PCs with a similar architecture. Windows 4.0 was also considered part of the NT family and it was the last of the family. It became the peoples choice evident from Microososfts struggle to make users upgrade to Windows 2000 in the later years. Windows 4.0 is considered the pioneer of graphical user interfaces used in later versions of Windows such as Windows 95. The Windows brought.
