Connecting to Balto

Log in to the onboard PC

From a computer on the same network as balto:

ssh [email protected]

• User: robot
• IP: 192.168.0.69

(to do) — record balto's ROS_DOMAIN_ID.

Tip: you will often need several SSH sessions at once — see RL Nodes for the RL tests (3–4 terminals).

Check the robot's topics

On the onboard PC (with the venv activated):

ros2 topic list

Balto's topics are namespaced under /a200_0681, e.g. /a200_0681/cmd_vel.
