The assignment

De volkskarnt asked us to design a interactive visualisation for the subject: "The car in the city". To do this we get to use data from the RDW (https://opendata.rdw.nl/browse?category=Parkeren&provenance=official). This data contains information about parking spaces in big cities in the Netherlands. This data needs to be cleand up using JS and using D3 we need to build a visualisation to present to the Volkskrant. The editors can use our visualisations for interesting insights about parking in the city to write articles about.
