ℹ️ Information
Virtual Motion Trackers (VMT) provide a convenient way to emulate touchpad actions on your controller without physically moving them. Instead of moving the controller, you can use regular buttons to perform touchpad actions like swiping or navigating in games. For example, if you want to move forward and backward in a game, you can assign the ■ SQUARE button for moving forward and the X CROSS button for moving backward.
By using VMT's touchpad emulation, you can simplify navigation in games and enjoy a more comfortable gaming experience without constantly moving your controller.
ℹ️ Setup
To bind the touchpad actions to buttons:
- Hold both the MOVE (#1) button and the desired button (e.g., ■ SQUARE or X CROSS).
- While holding both buttons, move the controller in the direction you want (#2) to associate with the touchpad action (e.g., forward or backward).
- Release both buttons to save the touchpad action.
Now, when you press the assigned button, the touchpad action will be triggered without physically moving the controller (#3).
To unbind the touchpad actions from the buttons:
- Simply perform a quick press of both the MOVE (#1) button and the button you had previously assigned. This will remove the touchpad action from the button, and the controller will revert to its default touchpad functionality.
