What is SETTI?

SETTI stands for Simplified Edit The Text Interface. It is an extremely simple library for Python that simplifies the process of communicating with Edit the Text. Simply put, it's something that makes creating bots easier.

What is Edit the Text?

Edit the Text is a site created Cary and Michael Huang in 2010. On the site, there is a text box that is editable by anyone. The site is available on htwins.net/edit/, and users can create new text boxes by typing any name after the "edit/" in the URL.

What can this be used for?

SETTI can be used to create bots that automate processes like backing up or cleaning up pages.
