The current ideas for the story are all over the place on my computer, but I will try to condense them into this wiki over the coming weeks.

In short the idea is to combine both games, fully implement a save importer system and have the decisions the player makes in the first game effect the second game a little more.

From something as wild as not having HK available if you don't get them in the first game.

To more subtle differences between recurring characters and or locations.

All the way to prominent changes in the structure of a world's story.
